How to Make a Charm Necklace
It’s no secret that the charm necklace trend is taking over the world right now. In fact, I have seen so many pop-up events where you can go and make your own charm necklace. While I’m not against going to these events, they are often really expensive. So, my friend and I tried our hand at these DIY charm necklaces. Below are the supplies that we used. I will say that I didn’t purchase the pliers that you need to make the necklace. I already had some from my letter board kit + needle nose pliers. They worked great. However, if you don’t have any pliers, I would suggest purchasing jewelry pliers to help!
Charm necklace Kit
This kit was a lifesaver and really all you need for making your necklace. This set comes with charms, 4 necklace chains, clasps and rings for hanging the charms.
Assorted Charms
We wanted to add some colorful and fun charms to our necklaces. We added these. These charms came in a variety of icons and shapes!
Gold Charms
Not wanting every charm to be colorful? Same. We added these western style gold charms to our charm necklaces.
These took about 2 hours to make and we each ended up with two charm necklaces each. We spent around $50 total. We split that amount. So, in the end we spent a total of $25 each for two charm necklaces! I good deal if you ask me!
