Vision Board Night
It’s a new year and most of us have new goals. For the past two years, my friends and I have made vision boards. These are easy to make and it is a fun way to get your girlfriends together for a girl’s night in. Below are some of my biggest tips for doing a vision board night.
Christmas Decorations
I don’t know about you but I love decorating for the holiday season! I tend to change things up every year just slightly. However, I have slowly switched from a rustic, neutral Christmas to buffalo check red Christmas to now a boho, pink and gold Christmas. My artistic side of my brain just can’t do the same theme more than a few years in a row. Each year, I don’t have a ton of room in my budget to completely start over from scratch. So, here are a few ways I decorated this year with the items that I already have on hand.
Hot Cocoa Bar
This weekend I got my Christmas decorations up. Last year I stocked up on hot chocolate items throughout the season. This year, I decided to add items to my hot chocolate bar at the start of the season. I am currently on a budget so I had to keep that in mind.
Holiday Gift Guide
It’s tiiiimee! Although I love fall so much, I have Christmas on the mind. Every year we have a ton of gifts to buy for friends and family. In my research for possible gifts to give, I put together a list of items. These are all items that I have either bought and used or are items that seemed interesting to me. I hope this list is helpful to you!
Meals I’ve Made for Postpartum
A couple of weeks ago, with my due date approaching it set in that I would soon be in the thick of postpartum life. With my first I didn’t really meal prep at all. I had somewhat of a plan but I didn’t really prep anything ahead of time except some breakfast items. This time, the weeks leading up to my delivery I really tried to get a few meals, snacks and breakfasts prepped ahead of time. While I didn’t get to everything on my list because he came early, these are few of the items I made that we loved!
Four Favorites
One of the things I enjoy doing most on my podcast is coming with a list of my current favorites. Products I swear by or am currently really enjoying. This current list is somewhat random. However, these are items that I have been truly using almost every day and loving!
Loving Oatmeal Lately
As I sit here on my couch I never thought I would be writing about oatmeal on my blog. Oatmeal is one of those foods that took me a while to actually like. However, in the past few years I have grown to really like it. Oatmeal is filling, it can help with milk production during breastfeeding, aid with acid reflux. Plus oats are packed with vitamins making them very good for you!
Hospital Bag- Round Two
Check out what I'm packing in my hospital bag for my second round of pregnancy!
My Pregnancy Favorites: Round Two
I am so excited that we are expecting our second child! Just like any pregnancy, this one has been so different then my first. I have been so sick this time around. I have had to go to the ER twice. Even as I have entered the second trimester, the time when I thought my sickness would go a way; I have in fact gotten sick several times this week. It has been less than ideal at times. However, that doesn’t take away from the excitement and the pure joy I have thinking about welcoming another child into our home! With this being my second, I decided to put together a list of my current favorites for this round.
Postpartum Essentials
It’s been a couple of years since I’ve given birth. While some days I feel far removed from those first days of newborn life, I still remember what products helped me the most in those early days. I also did a podcast episode that included my postpartum essentials here. With the help of friends around me that had done this before and my own research, I felt as prepared as one who had never given birth can be.
Taylor Swift Concert Look
This past weekend I went to the Taylor Swift concert! To say it was a dream come true is an understatement. No other concert will ever compare! I have loved Taylor from the time she came out with “Tear Drops on My Guitar” until now when she closed out her show with “Karma!” My 13 year old self would be so excited that I saw her in person! It truly still doesn’t feel like it was real!
